SOMMER SYNORIS 550 (3/4 HP) with (1) remote $350.00
Unlike conventional garage door openers that use a noisy chain, belt or screw the synoris has only one moving part with no moving chain or belt. The motor glides silently along the chain which is embedded in a sturdy steel rail. It is an extremely quiet garage door opener with virtually no vibrations. Perfect for homes with living spaces above or next to the garage.
Featuring very smooth operation with soft start and stop technology, the motor is located at the door instead of the back of the opener, maximizing power where you need it most. This is why the synoris is the way to power your garage door.
Also the only garage door opener with a LIFETIME WARRANTY ON THE ENTIRE OPENER, not just the belt and the motor. STRONG and DURABLE like a chain drive QUIETER than a belt drive

MAKE SURE YOUR GARAGE DOOR IS SAFE FOR YOUR FAMILY
Federal law required manufacturers of residential GDO's to change the way they make their products. Residential
GDO's manufactured on and after January 1, 1993 must have the following:
1) A automatic inherent reverse feature, that reverses after 2 seconds upon sensing an obstruction;
2) A 30 second reverse timer, that moves the door upward 30 seconds after sensing the door has not reached the fully closed position;
3) A secondary entrapment protection system, which may be either an attached and working external device (example: edge sensor or photoelectric eye) or an inherent secondary system (example: combination) sectional door and operator system with the entire door system acting as a force sensing device); and
4) Must close the door using the manufacturer's suggested devices (either a wall switch or a push button remote control).
